An article in Forbes described a buzzing hot demand for
sex dolls during this time of COVID quarantine. Interesting,
based on manufacturers of the sex dolls, the spike in demand
since March is from couples, people with disabilities,
as well as single men. So the traditional stereotype of loners choosing sex dolls
is rebuffed; sex doll use is going mainstream with men and
women enthusiastically bringing the doll into their bedroom.
Remember the movie, Lars and the Real Girl- the 2007 romantic
comedy featuring a sex doll? Apparently, we are quick to anthropomorphize technology.
Many high priced sex doll robots actually use AI (artificial
intelligence) to adapt to their human owner sexual and
companionship needs. Fascinating stuff. Will having a sex doll robot member or member (s) in your
family become as common as having a Roomba? I would think
having sex with a sex doll robot is definitely safer than
a physical meetup and on a marginal cost perspective, less
expensive than buying dinner! LOL- Who knows? COVID has changed many things in our society and many will
be permanent. Cheers!

It's really more of a sad social commentary on what people are
turning into.The internet is slowing transforming normal everyday people
unhappy with whatever they get or have.Always looking for the next
best thing.What could be better than a partner that sits on a charger all day

I don't see "Sex dolls" as a social threat. The internet already accomplished that.

Sex dolls are just a very expensive toy only few can buy, and very likely within 3 to 6 months the
interest will fade and the sex robot will end up in storage with your thigh master, and what ever
else you sucker-bought.
