You're just as real in Blogland as you are in person.
But I reveal more to Blogland than I do in general conversation.
I have never really assumed anything about you. I do think you are fun and appealing. 😉
The assumptions that I think are made about me are ones from people in the real world. Blogland knows me better than they do.
@superbjversion2 So true! You are clever and amazing! 😉
I grew up in the deep south where they are polite. I now live in the midwest where they are friendly. Yes, there is a difference.
There are a lot of friendly Midwesterners which is probably why I think they assume polite and friendly are the same.
We Minnesotans definitely know that polite does not equal sincere friendliness! The term “Minnesota Nice†has an edge to it.
As the DHS found out ... to their dismay.
Seems reasonable enough.
Why would anyone "debate" dating preferences?
Never heard "Trad-Wife" before, though I get it.
Men on this site debate a woman's preference frequently ... when they don't match her preference.
Good list.
My politeness gets mistaken for friendliness too. It's got me into a spot of bother occasionally.
I have no problem becoming politely unpolite to get people away from me.
That reminded me of how people make assumptions of me. There are two constant assumptions that have come up fairly often
there was this one time when my limited knowledge of Japanese helped me.
Also, my French has improved a lot.
Anyhoo, I do like that people underestimate me.
I am now assuming that you know how to dance but you're just really bad at it.
@superbjversion2 I wish I could dance as good as Eleaine Benes from Seinfeld.
