Established in 2005, Killing Kittens was founded by Emma Sayle, a boarding school friend of Kate Middleton, now Catherine, Princess of Wales and the next British queen. The company is the world's leading organiser of sex parties held in or near major cities, such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Chicago, Edinburgh, Florence, London, Madrid, Malaga, Manchester, Miami, Monte Carlo, New York, Paris, Portofino, Sydney and Venice. No Bangkok, no Berlin, no Cape Town, no Rio de Janeiro, and no Tokyo!
The upmarket parties, normally held in secret locations, are essentially for couples and single women only.
The key rule at the parties, apart from consent, is that only women can make the first move - men cannot approach women. Also single men, unless invited as a guest member, aren't allowed to attend a party. To be invited to a party, you have to be a member. Basic membership is free, and premier membership is about £8 per month. Killing Kittens claims to have over 250,000 members worldwide.
The cost of attending a Killing Kittens party varies depending on gender and event. For single women (so-called kittens), it's about £65 to attend a standard event. And for couples and guests, it's between £120 and £160 to attend a standard event.
For premier and speciality events, ticket prices are higher. For hotel and mansion parties, ticket prices range from £160 to over £250, more if accommodation is needed. For an all-inclusive cruise, packages start at around £5,000 for a standard double room up to £35,000 for a luxury suite cabin. One journalist reported that 2,000 condoms a week are used on each Killing Kittens cruise.
Because sex parties couldn't be held during the covid pandemic, Killing Kittens took on a £170,000 loan from the British government to keep going in business. This loan was later converted into equity and the British taxpayer now owns a 1.5 per cent stake in the company! Killing Kittens is currently valued at £15 million.
