Gordon Ramsey doesn't have anything on you, baby!
Gordon Ramsay is a novice!
Now way, nada, uh-huh, absolutely not, never will happen. any type of an egg with a runny yolk makes me gag. fried very hard or scrambled to the point there is a little brown.
You can poach an egg hard - about 5 to 6 minutes should make it hard.
I have never poached an egg. Could possibly try sometime, because I picked up some eggs for cheap today.
Give it a try. Poached eggs on toast is a delicious and easy meal.
I’m really craving those eggs now.
I often have cravings for poached eggs on toast.
I was wondering when you'd rise to the challenge 😂
I always try to rise to the challenge!
My dad made poached eggs, every Sunday, when I was a child. I haven't eaten them since I moved out of the house, 50 years ago. At home, my eggs are either scrambled or as an omelet. If I eat out then they are fried, over hard. I know how to make poached eggs, I just don't like them enough to bother.
I find omelettes difficult to make - I think I use too many fillings so the omelette just collapses.
Equal to @writa25 for sure.
how do you feel about a step of putting egg in a small mesh (like a sieve for flour) to let the more watery parts of the white fall away?
That's untraditional and, in my book, just plain cheating!
Don’t forget I challenged you because of a game on @ladylisa77 s blog
I know where your challenge emanted. But I have risen to the challenge, though I'm not saying I've got the best recipe for poached eggs.
Thanks for sharing this great recipe my friend as I have never had a poached egg ever. I have always wanted to try them.
I hope you continue to enjoy a Thursday filled with many fun and sexy thrills..
Poached eggs on toast are great. I hope you get to try them. I'd make some for you but I fear they wouldn't travel well over the Atlantic Ocean and across America to where you live in California! No one likes addled eggs!
My culinary knowledge is very limited, if not nonexistent, but the dish in the second photo looks appetizing.
Poached eggs on toast is divine.
I don't know if I can make poached eggs or not. I've never really tried! I guess maybe I've eaten them in a restaurant at some point, but I don't honestly recall. Not sure what this all is BTW.
Some people have problems making poached eggs. I have problems making scrambled eggs!
I use a strain and crack the eggs into it to get rid of the excess liquid. Also can't beat fried tattie scone with them.
I've never had a fried potato scone with poached eggs but I can see the combination working well together.
