Another good un, thank you!
A great set of answers, but there are no bonus points on offer!
You scored nine points, one point off winning! The joint winners were sexstarvedme1966 (again!) and superbjversion2. Below are the correct answers in parentheses after the quotation.

@spunkycumfun
I feel cheated, that bonus point belongs to me!! 🤣🤣
@lindoboy100 You can take the matter up with the Court of Arbitration for Sport!
@spunkycumfun
I'm going to the highest authority in the land . . . once you tell me who that is!!
@lindoboy100 It could be the European Court of Human Rights if you feel your human rights have been infringed!
@spunkycumfun
Are we still under their jurisdiction? Let's just ignore them if so, and go straight to trump's supreme court of the world. I'm sure if I tell him how interstellar his handsome orange looks are he'll come down in my favour.
@lindoboy100 We are though the Tories want out, the European Court of Europe falls under the auspices of the Council of Europe. The only two countries, I think, to be excluded from the Council of Europe are Belarus and Russia. A Tory-led Britain will have exclusive company!
@spunkycumfun
Yep, I knew we were still in the ECHR because farage keeps telling us it's gopng to be the first thing he'll change when he gets into No 10 so that he can then treat migrants like the nazis treated the jews and like the USA are treating their migrants today - inhumanely! It ain't the tories we need to worry about any more!
@lindoboy100 I really hope Starmer gets to grip with this boat 'crisis' soon. The problem is not the migrants themselves, that issue can be managed, but people's impressions no matter how wrong they are. For example, one reason why deportations have increased recently here is less to do with the number of 'illegal' migrants arriving but that the Home Office is working through the backlog of asylum applications. That point gets lost in the popular debate.
It's seemingly impossible to be a legal migrant here nowadays!
I agree with you, it's Farage that should be countered. the Tories are becoming increasingly irrelevant.
@spunkycumfun
The problem is that the popular debate is driven by the media (owned by billionaires) who need someone to blame for the problems they've caused. Combine that with peoples' inherent conditioned bigotry and reason will never win that debate. It will not end well.
Sadly, the only real way to turn this round (it seems to me anyway) is to persuade enough of these 'elites' that they have more to in the long run by teaching people to be open-minded, warm and welcoming. They're not known for taking the longer view though, the race for the quickest buck seems to them to be the best one run. Thanks Maggie!
@lindoboy100 The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Express have a lot to answer for, but they've always had a lot to answer for. Now increasingly it's the social media sites. At least newspapers are legally responsible for their content unlike social media sites. Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and the like should be held responsible for the tosh they allow on their platforms.
@spunkycumfun
Media = news media and social media, it all amounts to the same rubbish these days. You don't need to be really discerning to work out which ones are reporting news, and which are reporting crap, but many seem to be having difficulty with that!
@lindoboy100 It's the Dunning-Kruger effect. This psychological phenomenon explains a lot, including Trump, MAGA and trolls - I realise they may all be the same thing!
@spunkycumfun
Had to goggle that!! 😂
I've come across many people in life who were too inept to be able to see their own limitations, but had this unshakeable self-confidence. There are a few of those hereabouts and in the other blogger place too!!
@lindoboy100 I've only very recently come across the Dunning-Kruger effect. But to me at least, it explains a lot.
I'm perhaps going to sound elitist here, which is not my intention. I've always thought that the more you know is also a realisation that it's the more you don't know. But MAGA trolls and MAGA in general, who know fuck all, don't bother with those niceties, subtleties, nuances, uncertainties and the like. Complex issues, for them, are reduced to simple solutions! It now seems force is their solution!
@spunkycumfun
You only sound elitist to people who want to use that as an excuse for their laziness.
The use of force will only ever increase. Nothing positive is being done by any of these people. It's all evil.
@lindoboy100 I'll wear my elitist badge with pride then!
@spunkycumfun
Where can I get one of them?
@lindoboy100 My badge came with my membership on this site!
@spunkycumfun
Oh you devil, you won it with that prize last week, didntchya!!??!! I'm so jealous, you get all the goodies, waaahh . . . 🤣🤣
@lindoboy100 I think you should ask for one from Site Support!
@spunkycumfun
More likely to get a boot in the arse!

New laptops are dangerous!

I have no idea who said any of these quotes today my friend. As I woke up with a headache because I slept too much. I love George Carlin he was always so wise and said exactly what he thought and now most of it is coming true.
I hope your Friday is a fun start to your weekend..
I hope your headache soon disappears.
