The beauty of getting older

I used to worry about getting old.
In my imagination, being 50 should feel like spending most of the time recalling nice memories from the past.
It sounds painful.

Now I'm over 50, life is beautiful, still.
Somehow, even more beautiful than most of the past.
I can't deny the fact that I now need more time to rest after a tennis match.
But besides, moments of contentment seem to appear more often.
Somewhere along the way, intentionally or not, I dropped the need to care about what people may say about my decisions, my fashion, and even my life.
I lost the urge to update every drama going on in my circle or in my country.
From outside, it may look like I'm all alone.
But from inside, it feels like peace.

The morning coffee seems to be calmer.
