@spunkycumfun, they aren't. It's planned. Veterans have already filed a lawsuit over it, claiming (among other things) that it would completely block Arlington National Cemetery.

And I agree with you that the worst thing he's done (out of all the other terrible things he's done or plans to do) is destroy the economy. All the other stuff is more or less abstract, but the economy affects every single one of us personally, from grocery prices to skyrocketing fuel prices. That is going to be the major factor of the Republican shellacking in the midterms, I guarantee you. I'm almost 100% positive that the House will go to the Dems, and the odds are improving that the Senate will, too. Either way, if the Dems control either one, MAGA's agenda is all but finished.

In his presidential campaign, Trump promised to tackle the affordability issue and not commit America to another never-ending war. He's done quite the opposite.
His tariffs are inflationary, please don't be economically illiterate to argue otherwise - tariffs are paid by the importers and not the exporters and much of the tariffs will be paid by American consumers.
Trump has ordered violence, rightly or wrongly, to be meted out in Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen and now Iran. He's also threatened violence against Colombia, Cuba, Denmark (Greenland) and Mexico. And I'm excluding Canada from that list.
He's no Peace President.
