For me, it is the emotional depth we carry. The way we can feel joy, grief, hope, and tenderness, sometimes all in the same situation, and still keep finding meaning in the middle of it. That range is what makes being human so remarkable.

There are so many good things and so many bad.
Where to start, what is a human!
To be able to love with passion someone for life.
A love of nature.
Family
Inquisitiveness.
Science knowledge.
Inventiveness.
The bad oh my god with whats happening in the world I think some humans should never have been born.
We are so destructive of this marvellous world we live in.
We are the only life form that have invented a way to totally destroy the world.
We are not as cleaver as we think we are.
Thank you for sharing Mr. Pete as you gave us lots of reasons why being human is such a great thing. And you also shared some of the bad in such a true and eloquent way so thank you so much.

Hmmm, being able to contemplate and admire the immensity of the universe.
Being able to reproduce in different and imaginative positions is also good.

I really don't know how to answer this question, because I have never been anything but human. LOL But actually learning something new every day is a virtue.
Thanks for sharing hon, and I kind of felt this would be a difficult one to answer too. But I am getting a lot of great answers to this one. It's always a great feeling when we can learn something new that helps us in our every day lives.

The most amazing thing about being human is you can make the day whatever you want it to be. As a species we're advanced enough that merely surviving isn't really in doubt and you can put energies towards other areas.

I have to say in these days and times though surviving for so many is a real and hard issue unfortunately. But we can put our energies elsewhere too so we don't have to think about these hard times that so many are dealing with these days.
