Do you ever think about how good it is that you didn't meet with a particular person or didn't take the next step and let things get physical? Sometimes it's obvious you made the right choice - like when you get rude responses simply for saying you're not interested. Other times there's a feeling of satisfaction when you think of the reality of the person you said no to. Stepping back and considering that person's circumstances, their lifestyle, their attitudes and opinions - you realize that getting more intimate and personal would not have been good for you. Regret can happen when emotion takes over (especially lust) and we don't think rationally. Take your time and consider if the gratification is worth it.
