Yet meaning remains strangely absent.
Modern dating suffers from a peculiar misconception: that connection is a numbers game. If enough people enter the room, eventually intimacy will arrive with them.
But too often we find that It doesn't.
Not everything valuable arrives through accumulation. Some things arrive when you stop filling every empty space just to avoid sitting inside it.
The discomfort isn't loneliness. It's silence.
And silence forces questions distractions cannot answer.
Inventory of Absence
Sometimes the space you're trying so desperately to fill is the exact place where something real was supposed to appear.

So, what would you fill the spaces with? Something real, something fleeting, or something undefined? Maybe they don't need to be filled at all. Are you trying to embrace that void? Does the idea of nothing feel like freedom to you? Does it give you clarity?

Hello there my sweet friend. I truly believe that Intimacy requires space at times.
There's a lot I could say, but i think, that would missing the point.
Please, by all means say what's on your mind. It's no fun if everyone just agrees with me.
I like my empty spaces.

Maybe the goal was never to fill the empty spaces, but to stop fearing them.
A wall can keep the world out, but it can also give you a quiet place to hear yourself think. What feels empty today may simply be making room for something worth keeping.
I don't mind empty space.
It usually means I have nothing interesting to say.
And saying nothing, is better than babbling.
I don’t mind the empty space either. I just don’t presume that giving it language somehow diminishes it. If anything, it’s another way of not letting it go unnoticed.
After all, “not yet decided” doesn’t necessarily mean untouched or ignored...it could indicate that the meaning hasn't settled yet.
