Back to my plans

Now as my body has slowly adjusted to my new dialysis timing, it is also time for me to get back to my home business matters. My part time caregiver has been on sick leave for 2 weeks now, she said she could come back on next Monday. In her absence, I have to engage ad hoc helpers for very simple housekeeping chores. I'm waiting for her to come back as I already trained her on the duties in different part of the house.

Really looking forward to her return so that I can also start my major cleaning, throwing away stuff and re-organizing my China tenants into new bedroom arrangements (based on their latest working shifts) as my bible school boys have returned back to India. Because I planned to install air conditioning for my tenants, after I received my loan amount which my late Father-in-law wrote in his Will to return to me after selling his house. So I need to make sure the tenants are split into two rooms (Day shift vs Rotating shift) in order to control the hours for air-conditioning, can't be 24 hours as the electric bill will goes up greatly. (Common practice here in SG to only provide 9-12 hours per day)

Another China tenant is leaving end of the month to move in to his son's place. So I would be busy posting ads and conducting viewing for the next potential tenant to join our 'family'. I'm praying for a good tenant that can follow our house rules and able to get along with others as well.

Well, I'm pretty busy as I would be starting my bible school Associate Degree on 16th Oct and there's already some reading to catch up. I am continuing my studies to keep my brain alert. I don't wish to become dementia too young! Those years I spent in isolation, I realised I need to improve in my social communication skills as I am not that able to socialize after I went back to the community the past year. I need to brush up on my skill set again.

Actually I am also looking forward to my church opening English service in my neighbourhood again as their old building is here. It would be so much easier for us to attend church services because normally, I have to pay SGD $100-$120 to engage wheelchair van transportation for each round trip to town for the current building. Then I can even encourage my Hubby to join me to serve in ministry too when the old building's English service starts in future. I could save so much on transportation a month when the church is back with services to my neighbourhood area.

But I would also go slow with all these agenda I planned. Health still come first... one agenda at a time. Meanwhile, I'm also weeding out influences that are not good for myself... and trying to build on more positive vibes into my life. I can't change others or circumstances, but I can change myself to be a better person while changing my environment.
