This week's theme is Things that start with A or B. I went on a 2-night trip on my birthday weekend. I like to soak in a hot bath after a day of walking around sightseeing. But the bath in the rooms of the hotel I stayed at was really tiny! Even for me! This year, I went to Kanazawa to go visit Shirakawago, a village up in the mountains known for preserved homes with thatched roofs. Many of the homes have been converted to shops and restaurants to cater to the tourists. More to come in futue posts.
