I’ll Have a Beer, a Lap Dance - and a Cream Pie To Go, Please
I live in the unincorporated part of the county. The medium size town nearby is noted for being almost fascist in its approach to law enforcement. When I first moved here there were three “gentlemans clubs” in town. Various factors have now reduced that number to only one.
But it’s the veteran of the bunch. One of the dancers that worked there was getting on a bit in age and purchased the place herself. She still runs it and her daughter dances there now. A short while ago this club moved from where it had been for 20+ years to a new location. That building used to be a family style restaurant. Its claim to fame was serving their home-made pies. The extent of the building's change in use just made me chuckle. It's a VERY different kind of place now!
The changes to the building visible from the outside seem quite minor. Darkening of the windows, for obvious reasons, and a new sign of course. But now I’m wondering how the inside of the renovated place looks. For example, what happened to the pie display case? I know the place serves food of some sort. So most of all, I’m wondering is it possible to get a beer, a lap dance, and a cream pie to go? Inquiring minds need to know!
Are strip clubs that serve food subject to Health Department inspections like other restaurants?
If so, what do you think they’re cited for most frequently?
Do you think strippers would also make good pie chefs?

Sorry to hear that the Restaurant with the homemade pies is no longer there. But the Strip Club sounds like it's ran by a well respected ex stripper. I think strippers can be what ever they want to be too, like bakers, chefs, business owners.
We don't have them here as I don't know why there is a market for them here, but I kind of live in a good old boy county if you know what I mean. I hate it and that's why we are moving soon.

Nottingham City Council doesn't licence any 'naughty' establishments. No sex clubs, no strip clubs but there is a sex shop and a Hooters (the only one in Britain).
Our Hooter closed. 😢 But we've got two Twin Peaks. 😁

A quite sexy mature lady I used to work with is good friends with the mother/owner. She said they'd sometimes get her (my coworker) up on stage, but dang it all I missed that. 😞
