Those Lusty Black Haired Babes
When I moved to Kansas it was to start an office for a small company based in Southern California. It was not a dotcom company exactly but in many ways functioned like one – principally how they treated their employees. The 200 or so of us were just one big family. That family concept extended to how they’d cover airfare, hotel and meals for the handful of remote employees, and their families, to attend the company Christmas party.
I recall one party in particular that aligns with the theme of this post. One of the software engineers was an Indian lady. Cute, but noting special – well until you saw her all done up and in an evening gown! That evening all the guys were going around telling each other “Go track down Ananya and get a load of how she looks tonight!” Of course, part of it was her incredible body, and the way her gown showed it off. But I think part of it too was her luscious head of flowing black hair.
Looking back over my dating history ladies with black hair are definitely trailing the pack. Brunettes are aplenty. Followed by blonds, a fair number of redheads, and lets not leave out those silver foxes! But truly black hair? Only two. That might explain why Ananya held such a fascination for me.
I might also explain how I got sucked into watching the second season of Citadel on streaming. If you’re not familiar with that series it is basically a spy story. But I’m convinced the REAL reason it exists is as a vehicle for Priyanka Chopra Jonas to show off as a bad ass and/or in evening gowns. This is very similar to what was done years ago with Jennifer Garner in Alias. Likely you remember that series! I’m not sure she ever did black hair though. I seem to recall she was more about funky hair colors like pink, purple and green.

I do notice hair color, though mine is now moving, quite gracefully, from midnight toward moonlight.
Mine has been moonlight for almost as long as I can remember.

There is a certain dignity to it; I rather like that.
Some hair colors stand out more than others.
I tend to favor dark headed men it seems. There is only 1 blonde that I can recall. No, two.
I adore red headed women but the men are in short supply.

Supposedly like 2% of the population are red-heads by genetics. But there sure seems to be a lot more women than that who have red hair, so I guess they've figured out that men like that.
I might notice hair color but I don't really pay attention to it ... unless they don't have any!
There are probably more brunets in my history but then it's more common than blond or auburn.
Of course, these days, it's mostly gray-haired gents.
I learned the attraction of those silver foxes long before most do. Maybe it was because I myself went gray at such a young age. 😀

I pay attention to hair colour. Most of my girlfriends have had brunette hair. I've never dated a redhead for some reason.
