HNW - Preparing for Getting Wet

I suspect this theme is coming up now because it is the start of the summer season for most of us. The time for wet t-shirts, bathing suits, etc. This theme also plays right into something that I’ve got going on.

I generally stay home in the summer, work the garden, hit the community pool, and let families clog the travel sites. I then travel myself after Labor Day. About my only plan for this summer that is different this year than in previous years is to take S to the outdoor pool at the newly opened casino hotel near where she lives.

I had to take her shopping for a swimsuit first though. Believe it or not, she doesn’t have one! 😮 The last time we went swimming together, she didn't need a suit - we were at the nekkie resort. 😁

First we hit a department store. OMG the prices they wanted! And they sold the tops and bottoms separately, thereby basically doubling the price. Next we hit Tarjay and Wally World. Same basic deal, though a bit less expensive. In recognition of the somewhat large amount the casino hotel wanted for the room, S was insistent that I not spend TOO much money on her swimsuit.

We decided to try the second-hand store in the small town where she lives. Frankly the selection was dismal. LOTS of choices, but options best suited to old ladies taking their spawn’s spawn to the pool – not the GILF attire I was seeking for S. Given how welcoming the owner was, S felt bad that we weren’t buying anything, and suggested that I look for an alternate to the boring swim trunks I normally wear.

Those selections were somewhat limited too – until S expanded our thinking. Her first choice was all white. I had SERIOUS doubts about that one, especially what would happen to it when it got wet. I thought they were panties! But the owner insisted they were bathing suit bottoms, and even showed us the companion top is an adjoining bin. ( Yeah, they sold them as separates too. BTW, I REALLY want to meet the lady that would dare wear that suit.😍 ) S’s second choice, a blue-green shiny piece, seemed more reasonable to me. Her third choice also seemed a good possibility to me, though I wished they’d had it in a large as the medium seemed like it might be a bit small. Since the prices of these items were $2, $3, and $5, respectively, S insisted we buy them all so we could take them to her house and conduct some testing.

Here are the images I captured after S soaked them with water and had me put them on. The white one exhibited exactly the issue I feared. But it DID make for a good HNW image!!

The fit was as I expected and FOR SURE I’d not be diving into the pool wearing that one! It was a challenge for us to decide which one I’d wear.

But the good news is, WE don’t have to! Having heard about my Monday Covergirl posts and polls, S suggested taking the same approach here. So which suit I’ll wear to the casino hotel pool with S is going to be up to ya’ll. Here are your choices side by side.
