NVS MMC#11 – Work / Written in the Third Person

They say, if you truly love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. Given that, here is the best he could come up with.

He ultimately grew to almost 6’ 3” but topping out at only 174 pounds he always was skinny. It wasn’t anything he did, it was genetic. He was built just like his father, his uncle, and his male cousin on his Dad’s side of the family.

Despite that (or maybe because of it?) has was always working on getting the attention of the thicker girls. He was drawn to the ones with round faces, whose arms didn’t look like sticks, perhaps had a wee bit of a belly on them, and OF COURSE had some decent sized bewbies. He came to think of that work as the pursuit of “chunky blondes”.

The reasoning behind the second word in that statement is far less clear, and hair color was hardly disqualifying factor, though the trend was evident in his history.

However it seemed the thicker girls preferred guys built more like themselves. He suspected they were skeptical of his motivations and feared he considered them easy pickings since they didn’t conform to society's body shape expectations. To tackle this he worked on making them laugh. Whenever the opportunity arose he made humorous statements like:
-I’ve got enough skinny for both of us; and
-ONE of us needs to have some padding or someone will get hurt!
He thought this was a good way to point out his own non-conformity and perhaps defuse their skepticism of his efforts. This approach seemed to go over very well. It also meant the first time they laughed, it was WITH him and not AT him - like they might the first time they saw him nekkid.

He is retired from his job now. He’s at 6’2” (and shrinking) and he has ballooned up to 179 pounds. What has not changed is his tireless work pursuing “chunky blondes”, whatever their hair color.
