I just got a new GP, and he quickly helped me with the tendinitis in my arm (tennis elbow), when no one else would. I play piano, and the more I play, my wrist starts to hurt, leading to a numb elbow. Weed whacking also hurts. He simply told me to buy a tennis elbow strap, which I did for $13, and voila! Better!!
Those are the kind of fixes we need more of in modern medicine!
My current GP whom I have for the past 5 years is an amazing practitioner . He has supported me in my quest of great health . In a sample of my quest , in that I have hit my BMI of 27.5 on top of hitting 200 lbs . In my job I do get some cuts at time. Nothing to worry about and I get with playing with my dogs ðŸ•
Congrats on getting healthy.
@CleavageFan4U , thanks for the congrats. The beneficial receiver's are my wife and the special ladies I have I special relationships with current and the past. Which I benefit as well ðŸ˜
I lack grace, yet I don't consider myself prone to injury. I have been breaking nails a lot lately.
I haven't noticed more as I get older - Cowboy though, holy cow, every time he does any outside chores he shreds his arm skin. I finally insisted he wear one of the long sleeved shirts made for summers. Now his skin stays intact. And totally since he has aged. Or retired. Maybe he was always fragile but just didn't do enough outside chores for us to notice, LOLOL.
My GP passed during Covid and I have not replaced him. My chiro, gyn and endocrinologist are very competent.
I think a lot of it with me is thinning skin.
GP is a total waste of time. And I'm always finding random bruises that I can't recall getting. Worse as I get older.
Must be hot-wife bruising. 😂
@CleavageFan4U one can only wish
I wear gloves when I'm gardening, so I usually don't get any ouchies.
I get unexplained bruises all the time so I don't think much of it anymore
I've started wearing gloves when I'm going to be at it for long period.
I have not had any gardening accidents lately. But my sister was gardening, took a step back and tripped on a rock that was behind her, fell and broke her arm. 😬
Ohhh, that's not good.
I've never been prone to injury and that hasn't changed as I've aged ... though I do find the occasional unexplained bruise.
I wouldn't go to a doctor that I didn't trust but, having worked in the medical field for decades, I have an edge in determining trustworthiness.
I didn't mention the unexplained bruises, but CHECK, that happens too.
Gardening is dangerous!
I didn't used to think so, but apparently it is becoming more and more so. 😀
@OddsAgainst Yeah, I've started to do that NOW.
