Today is Christmas around here. It’s my birthday too, and the Granddaughter’s birthday as well. Or rather, given work and travel schedules, today is the date we settled on to celebrate all three of these events. It all gets rolling at about 4PM, just 30 minutes after the kickoff of the Chiefs playoff game against the Texans. But these plans were made LONG before that game was set so even though I’ll likely miss most/all of the game, I dare not remark on that conflict!
And while I would watch the game under normal circumstances, I don’t really mind missing it THAT MUCH. I’m more a fan of college football than the pros, so for me the BIG game is on Monday. That is when Notre Dame faces off against Ohio State for the national championship. The best news for me related to that game is - one of the two teams I loathe the most will lose!
Ever since I started paying attention to college football as a young teen I’ve rooted for Notre Dame and Ohio State to lose. I’m not sure why really. Perhaps because they were such arrogant powerhouses back then. Heck Notre Dame had their own network to carry their games since THE WHOLE COUNTRY wanted to watch them. 🤮

I watched some of the playoffs (when I could). About 3/4 of chiefs game and second half of Baltimore/ Buffalo. The others I just checked the scores a few times bc of doing other things. Fingers crossed for the next two games.
I saw the last 2.5 minutes of the Chief's game. 😂

We will be hosting various kids for the championship game on Monday.
College football gets me riled up when the Flroida Seminoles are playing or any of the Bowden men are coaching. I don't like Boise State either. Ugh. LOL

I don't follow football at all. Usually it's even news to me which two teams are in the Superbowl. I did see a really cute video of the Vikings' celebration dances this season that I liked, does that count?
Those dances are getting a lot of press.
While I won't watch any games, I will be hopeful for the Lions to continue their great season. College ball interests me not at all but OSU is a Big 10 team I guess I'll have to love them this year ... though I hate to do that.
What is "forcing" you to love OSU?

I won't be watching the NFL pay-offs; I'll listen to the Super Bowl final on the radio while in bed.
Football (your soccer) is main sport. I support Leeds United and I 'hate' Chelsea, Derby County, Cardiff City and Millwall.
