@MsSkinny We have Frankfurters here, nothing like the original in Germany. Most sausages here are so processed that they'd fail a sausage test.
On beans, baked beans made from navy/haricot beans are very popular here. I suspect baked beans are more popular here per capita than in America. We also do have green beans.

@MsSkinny My mother had a brown bean pot to bake in. Brown bean bacon, molasses, brown sugar. and slow bake for hours.

@MsSkinny I can believe that Queen Elizabeth once, and only once, was attentive to Prince Philip's wiener but not serving wiener at her Buckingham Palace garden parties. It's more likely to be cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
I's still maintaining that no wieners are knowingly eaten here. And I think you should take it up with Austria if you disagree!
